There are currently nine counties struggling to get their incidence rate down below the national average

The battle with Covid-19 and case numbers is not plateauing as fast as we would like.
Yesterday, there were a further two deaths as a result of Covid-19, along with 511 cases.
The national 14-day incidence rate is currently resting at 164.1 – with nine counties having a higher rate than the national average.
Offaly, Donegal, Westmeath, Dublin, Meath, Kildare, Laois, Longford and Cavan are all struggling with getting their case numbers down.
