The evolution of the fabled Nissan Fairlady name takes a giant leap today with the unveiling of the new Nissan Z Proto, a preview of the next-generation Z car, reportedly set to be called the Nissan 400Z.
Channelling the brand’s iconic 240Z – with headlights from the Japan-only 240ZG and oval taillights from the 300ZX’s – the successor to the tired 370Z is a retro-inspired charmer, sporting a sweeping fastback roofline and Infiniti’s 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6.
