Recent rumors have pointed to a new Redmi Note that has a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display with “AdaptiveSync”, which may be Xiaomi for a variable refresh rate (VRR) that goes from 30 to 120 hertz (Hz) at need. However, confusingly enough, this screen was not destined for a putative next-gen flagship, but for yet another 9-series phone that might even launch before 2020 is out.
