Manly are close to signing Wests Tigers utility Luke Garner to replace departing forwards Joel Thompson and Addin Fonua-Blake for next season.
Garner, aged 25, has been a consistent performer for the Tigers this season, playing 16 top grade games.
The Dubbo-born second-rower or centre has another two years on his deal at Concord but coach Michael Maguire is believed to be prepared to release him as he sets about rebuilding the Tigers’ roster.
