The Meg was real and it was absolutely massive, scientists say – Zoram Observer

The megalodon shark was twice the size of any other meat-eating shark to have lived, according to a new equation calculated by scientists. The creature’s body size was estimated to be between 15 and 3.6 million years ago, after its teeth were found abnormally large compared to its mackerel shark relative, lamniformes. However, previous estimates had put the species at around 10 metres, or 33 feet in length. Notably, this species has only recently been fossilised.
