Six decades after first dancing its way across the big screen — and singing, too — a certain New York neighbourhood rivalry is returning to cinemas. It was back in 1961 that West Side Story first made the leap from theatre to film, and now it’s repeating the feat this December. Yes, the Jets and the Sharks will be facing off again.
This time around, Steven Spielberg is in the director’s chair. Obviously, West Side Story‘s narrative will remain the same, though.
