Druckmann and HBO are committed to a full season of The Last of Us TV show
HBO is giving The Last of Us TV show a full series order, clearing the way for an entire season instead of just a pilot episode.
The series is being written and executive produced by Neil Druckmann, creative director on The Last of Us 1 and 2, as well as on Uncharted 4. Craig Mazin, who created and wrote the 2019 HBO series Chernobyl, is attached as co-writer and executive producer.
