The iconic jewels worn by Diana, Princess of Wales – 9Honey
The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia gave Diana a suite of diamond and sapphire jewels in 1981, which has become known as the ‘Saudi sapphires suite’.
The collection includes a Burmese sapphire and diamond pendant with matching earrings, a ring, bracelet and a watch.
They pieces were made by Asprey and feature large sapphires “set in a jagged sunray fringe of baguette diamonds”, according to Leslie Field in The Queen’s Jewels.
