Despite its early promise, the Spanish Grand Prix failed to bring any joy to Daniel Ricciardo who has finished outside the top 10 in back-to-back races.

For the second consecutive week, the Australian was buoyed by good pace in Friday practice, only for his Renault to be engulfed by the competition on Sunday.
Ricciardo finished the race – won by Mercedes Lewis Hamilton – in 11th after qualifying in 13th.
