Masochistic TV fans around the world have their clocks set for the new season of The Handmaid’s Tale, which drops its first episodes this evening Australian time.
The dystopian drama’s return ends a 20-month absence from our TV screens and streaming services, with the promise of tension, torture and — just maybe — some hope for our long-suffering favourite characters.

The first three episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale season 4 will be available to stream on SBS On Demand from 7:01pm AEST tonight.
