The BBC has a new director-general.
Hes not been long in the job, but Tim Davie has already joined the chorus of voices talking about BBC impartiality. Indeed, as the Telegraph notes, he used the word imapartiality 11 times in his inaugural speech. Heres hoping its not just hot air.
It has also been reported that Davie wants to tackle left-wing bias in BBC comedy. Shows like The Mash Report, we may presume, might be in trouble.
