The Australian Defence Vessel Ocean Protector provided a suitable backdrop to the ANZAC Day Dawn Service held on Christmas Island.
The Christmas Island community joined service men and women, and Australian Border Force personnel to pay their respects on Sunday morning.
ADV Ocean Protector is owned and operated by the Australian Defence Force, utilising ABF Maritime Enforcement Officers. It is the sister ship of the ABF Cutter Ocean Shield and forms part of an enhanced fleet of vessels ensuring Australian waters remain secure.
