There was a shocking fall to start the day at Rosehill and it cast a pall over the remainder of the meeting, but we still got to see some promising gallopers strut their stuff.
Hugh Bowman led the charge for the jockeys with a winning treble while Nash Rawiller and Jason Collett both landed doubles.
In the training ranks, Kris Lees and Peter and Paul Snowden landed doubles on a day when the winter track played reasonably fairly although the inside wasn’t the place to be.
