Verry Ellegant was outstanding in winning the main race at her first start back from a spell, giving jockey James McDonald a double while Josh Parr returned to the city for the first time since May with an early double.
With an improving surface, we were dealing with a soft (6) track and it played extremely well with most horses having their chances.
