‘That’s mass vaccination’: Local GPs lead Australian rollout – Sydney Morning Herald
Australia’s GPs quietly reached a significant milestone this week, and there are growing calls to more heavily involve them in the future Pfizer rollout.
Business has been pretty much as normal for GP clinic operator Kurt Shaw this week, as many hundreds of COVID-19 vaccines were distributed through the medical centres he operates.
There were a handful of cancellations and a few people failed to show but for now at least the impact of the decision limiting the use of the AstraZeneca jab to older Australians has seemed muted.
