‘That was a free shot’: Selwood questioned for dangerous tackle on Lions young gun
Geelong captain Joel Selwood has been questioned after taking a free shot on Brisbane young gun Tom Berry.
Despite play being stopped, Selwood tackled Berry to the ground, with a 50m penalty paid by the umpire.
While no injury occurred to Berry, former St Kilda player Nick Dal Santo questioned the look of the incident and suggested it need to be stamped out of players due to the severe consequences if contact is made to the head.
