Storm coach Craig Bellamy has hit back at suggestions that Melbourne prop Max King deliberately set out to injure Dragons forward Blake Lawrie.
King faces a nervous wait after being placed on report for a hip drop tackle in the Storms loss to St George Illawarra.
King the third man in placed his whole weight on the back of Lawries leg while teammate two Storm teammates came in over the top.
Lawrie writhed in pain and the tackle invited plenty of criticism from Greg Alexander in the Fox League call.
