Terminally-ill customer leaves $1,000 tip at restaurant: ‘Pay it forward’ – 9Honey
A terminally ill customer has stunned staff at a local restaurant after leaving a four-figure tip and paying for two other tables on their way out.
Burg Steakhouse, a restaurant in Tennessee, applauded the man’s generosity after a particularly busy Saturday meal rush.
It shared a photo of the man’s receipt, including his tip of $1,000 ($AUD 1,295) much higher than the customary 15 per cent, as his meal was only $60 ($AUD 77).
