The Australian Open was originally scheduled to begin on January 18 but it appears almost certain to be delayed as the government determines when players can arrive down under to begin a mandatory 14-day period of quarantine.
As reported by The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald last week, the ATP has told players they would be able to practise during a two-week quarantine period.
