Tournament organisers clarify comments made by Craig Tiley that the Victorian government would share quarantine costs
Tennis Australia has backtracked from comments made by its CEO Craig Tiley that the Victorian government would foot part of the bill for quarantining Australian Open players, coaches and officials.
The organisation was forced to clarify the details after Tiley told radio station 3AW on Wednesday morning that the state government was contributing to an expected $40m in quarantine costs.
Tiley did not put a figure on the governments share. Thats still to be determined because were still in the middle…
