Residents and recent visitors to ten suburbs across Melbournes inner north-west are being urged to remain on high alert for symptoms associated with COVID-19.
The Department of Health issued a fresh warning on Saturday after viral fragments of COVID-19 were detected in a wastewater sample taken from a sewer catchment on June 3.
The department said this new detection was of interest as there is currently no confirmed COVID-19 cases in the areas.
