Telstra boss to lead industry advisory body on cyber security – Sydney Morning Herald
Andy Penn will lead a new body advising the federal government as it looks to roll out the nation’s $1.66 billion cyber security strategy.
Mr Penn will chair the new committee, which will meet virtually for the first time on Tuesday.
The Telstra boss, who also chaired the industry panel that advised the government on its cyber security strategy, said internet-connected technologies were at the heart of the lives of most Australians and would be central to the country’s recovery after COVID-19.
