Two new medical studies suggest that people with the blood group O may have a lower risk of COVID-19 infection. In addition, they have a less chance of getting seriously ill, including organic complications, if they become infected.
We show that blood group O is significantly associated with a lower susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infectionrevealed the study published Wednesday in Blood Advances, a peer-reviewed medical journal by the American Society for Hematology.
