A Melbourne nurse has detailed the heartbreaking reality faced by healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
In a Facebook post, Jemma Hilliard revealed the toll the events of the past six months and the recent spike in the city’s numbers have taken.
As numbers continue to climb in Victoria, with 532 new virus cases overnight and six more people dead, Hilliard says the situation is now “actually worse” for healthcare workers than when the pandemic was first declared.
