Telcos warn NBN pricing plans will lead to spike in internet bills – Sydney Morning Herald
Telecommunications companies are warning proposed changes to NBN Co’s pricing structure will cost customers.

Telstra said it had put forward alternative solutions to the proposed price structures on the table and that it would try to work constructively with NBN Co. This current proposal simply does not do enough to reduce the costs and complexities that retailers and customers are facing, a Telstra spokesperson said.
Vocus chief executive of retail Antony de Jong said the pricing review made it clear that retail broadband prices would have to increase to keep up with changes to wholesale prices.
