Teenager taken to Townsville hospital after snake bite

A teenage girl has been taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition after being bitten by a snake in Queensland.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson (QAS) said paramedics were called Sir Leslie Thiess Drive ferry terminal in Townsville about 8.30am on Sunday.
