Teenager killed after motorbike crashes into fence at Brisbane track

A 16-year-old boy has died after his motorbike crashed into a fence during a Brisbane dirt bike race at a public track on Monday.
The victim was racing at the track on Raubers Road, Banyo on Brisbane’s northside when he crashed about 1.45pm and died at the scene.
North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club urged spectators not to post footage on social media.
“Due to an incident that occurred at the venue today, can we please ask that no footage or images of the QLD Track Titles be posted on any social media forum from herein,” the club posted on Facebook.
“If any person does have images or footage to please contact the club President via PM as soon as possible. Please respect the club’s code of conduct and privacy of those involved.”
