Teenager in custody after three people shot and wounded in New York City’s Times Square

Three people have been shot and wounded in an early morning incident in New York City’s Times Square, the New York Police Department says.

The people — an 18-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man, and a 65-year-old man — are in a stable condition in hospital, an NYPD spokesperson said.
