Teenager, 16, faces court over crash that killed three people at Suttontown, near Mount Gambier
A 16-year-old boy has appeared in the Mount Gambier Youth Court charged over a crash which left three people dead in South Australia’s south-east last year.
Key points:
- Ned and Nan Walker, and their daughter Sue Skeer, died in the November 2020 crash
- A 16-year-old boy was later charged with causing death by dangerous driving
- He appeared in court today, and the matter was adjourned until May
The prosecution made an application to adjourn the matter for 10 weeks to allow time for negotiations with defence counsel.
They indicated it would take around nine weeks for the return of the major crash report.
“We will negotiate on the matters that we can during that period,” the prosecution said.
