Teenage girl dies in hit-and-run, police hunt for ute

A teenage girl has died in a late-night hit-and-run in Moreton Bay.

The 17-year-old was struck by a white ute about 11.27pm in Margate at Redcliffe about 11.27pm on Monday.

Officers performed CPR, but the girl died at the scene.
