Teenage boy dead after being hit by a car near notoriously low bridge

A 14-year-old Wynnum boy has died after being hit by a car near a notoriously low bridge on Wednesday morning.
Police and emergency services were called to Berrima Street about 8.20am after reports that a Mitsubishi Pajero had hit a pedestrian.
The boy died at the scene.
