A teenager who slipped into an 11-month coma after a deadly accident woke up recently with no knowledge of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Joseph Flavill was hit by a car while he was walking through Burton in Staffordshire. The incident happened on March 1, three weeks before the coronavirus lockdown came into effect in the UK.
