Teen stabbed to death at Brisbane CBD park

A teenage boy has died after being stabbed at a park in Brisbane’s CBD on Thursday night.

The 16-year-old had been confronted by a man known to him at Emma Miller Place off Roma Street about 8pm, a police spokeswoman said.

After walking to King George Square, the teen collapsed before being found by police. The alleged offender was seen running towards the nearby Roma Street Parklands.

The teen was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transport to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he later died.
