Teen girl killed in shark attack off Bribie Island in Queensland

A teenage girl has been killed in a shark attack on Queensland’s Bribie Island.

Paramedics from Queensland Ambulance were called to Woorim Beach about 4.45pm, local time, on Monday following reports of the attack.

Police said the 17-year-old girl was swimming when the shark bit her.
