In a further sign of the strength of Australias economic recovery out of the coronavirus recession, job vacancies grew 13.7 per cent in the three months to February and are now well above pre-COVID-19 levels.
The recovery in job vacancies is a double-edged sword, with some industries experiencing labour shortages and difficulty filling lower paid jobs, particularly in hospitality and accommodation.
