Teams hit WA’s south coast waters for third day in search of missing teen rock fisherman

Ocean rescue crews on Western Australia’s south coast are preparing for their worst conditions yet, as they enter the third day of the search for a man lost to swell near Albany.

Police, SES and Albany Sea Rescue Squad teams were called to Cheynes on Saturday afternoon after reports a wave had swept two men into the ocean, about 50 kilometres east of Albany.

One of those men, a 23-year-old, was pulled from the water alive on Saturday.
