Teaming up to clean-up on Christmas Island.
Christmas Island is a haven for wildlife – boasting incredible birds, fantastic marine life and an abundance of land crabs.
On the eastern coast of the island you can find beautiful Greta Beach – a small cove with nesting turtles, splendid rock formations and magnificent views.
Unfortunately, Greta Beach also has a problem with plastic pollution, which is washed ashore by ocean currents. To help the animals that call this beach home, Australian Border Force, Australian Federal Police, #YourADF and local District High School students, organised a clean-up at Greta Beach.
