Tea Tree Gully mayor Kevin Knight refuses to stand aside despite third no-confidence motion

An embattled mayor who allegedly referred to a female employee as “dressing like a $2 tramp” and was found to have breached code of conduct rules over his treatment of women has had a third vote of no-confidence passed against him — but he says he will not stand aside.

Tea Tree Gully Council mayor Kevin Knight was found in an independent report by the council’s lawyers of breaching the council’s code of conduct numerous times through his treatment of female staff.
