Adelaide has ended Melbourne’s undefeated start to the season after Taylor Walker drilled a game-winning goal inside the final minute of a thrilling contest.
After trailing by 16 points midway through the final quarter, Walker’s last-minute goal put the Crows ahead for good as Matthew Nicks’ side sealed a 15. 6. (96) to 14. 11. (95) win at the Adelaide Oval.
Despite being Adelaide’s all-time leading goalkicker, Walker admitted that he was nervous before he put his side ahead in the final minute.
