Taxi driver’s son the final witness at Sharron Phillips inquest
A former detective investigating the disappearance of Sharron Phillips said the son of the prime suspect in the cold case phoned him and said, “my father did it”.

The son in question, Ian Seeley, also allegedly told his sister the same thing, a coronial inquest into Ms Phillips’ disappearance heard on Tuesday, the second day of the hearings in Brisbane.
Another witness testified on Tuesday that he overheard Mr Seeley arguing one day with his father, taxi driver Raymond Mulvihill, and the phrase “that girl you had in the boot” was used by Mr Seeley.
