Tasmania’s Premier says the state will close its border to greater Brisbane amid COVID outbreak

Tasmania will close its border to the greater Brisbane area from 4:00pm today in response to that area’s snap lockdown announced this morning.

Premier Peter Gutwein said the greater Brisbane area would be declared a level 2 high-risk area.
