Tasmania to close borders to Greater Sydney travellers as outbreak concerns grow

Tasmania is closing its borders to any travellers from the Greater Sydney area from 4:00pm today.

Previously, seven local government areas in New South Wales were declared high-risk.

Travellers from Greater Sydney will need a special exemption to be able to enter the state.
