A tampon company has been criticised for a recent social media post.
Tampax, owned by Procter & Gamble, shared the following message on September 15.
It read: “Fact: Not all women have periods. Also a fact: Not all people with periods are women. Let’s celebrate the diversity of all people who bleed! : @gobeeharris #mythbusting #periodtruths #transisbeautiful”
