Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has defended the next-gen price increase announced for NBA 2K21, saying the additional $10 charge reflects “the quality of the experience” the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will offer.
“There hasn’t been a price increase for frontline titles for a really long time, despite the fact that it costs a great deal more to make those titles,” Zelnick told GamesIndustry after an earnings call.
