The coveted World’s 50 Best Bars list has dropped for 2020, naming Sydney bar Maybe Sammy ‘Best Bar in Australasia’ for the second year running, with an impressive #11 spot.
While the usually lavish awards ceremony was ditched this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the global award-winners were announced early this morning on November 6, with Maybe Sammy creeping up a whopping 32 spots from last year, after scoring #43 in 2019.
