Sydney Olympics flagpole finds new lease on life on Riverina farm – ABC News
After having a prominent role at the Sydney Olympics 20 years ago, a flagpole left to gather dust in an attic is now standing proudly in the New South Wales Riverina.

The pole used to hoist the Australian flag during the opening ceremony of the 2000 Sydney Olympics has found a new home in a field on the New South Wales Riverina.
