Man stabbed in Merrylands
A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed multiple times during a fight at Merrylands, in Sydney’s west.
The 38-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck, chest and back when emergency crews were called to Post Office Lane in Merrylands about 11:00pm last night.
Police believe the man was stabbed after becoming involved in an argument with another man, who ran from the scene.
The injured man was taken to Westmead Hospital where he is in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been set up and officers from Cumberland Police Area Command are investigating the incident.
