Here’s what you need to know this morning.
First vaccine hubs revealed
Some of the largest hospitals in NSW will be used for the state’s first 11 COVID-19 vaccination sites, which will administer Phase 1a of the Pfizer vaccine.
NSW Health says priority will be given to frontline staff in the Federal Government’s rollout of the program from late next month.
Vaccination hubs are set to be located at Royal Prince Alfred, Westmead and Liverpool hospitals, followed by Hornsby, St George, Nepean, Newcastle, Wollongong, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo and Wagga Wagga hospitals.
Among the groups first in line for the jab will be ambulance and patient transport staff, emergency department workers and those in critical care wards.
