A date with the Mark Newnham-trained sprinter Splintex is set to bring the in-form hoop north for the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 on May 15.
Newnham is chasing a Group 1 with his talented son of Snitzel and the stallion prospect is a $13 chance with TAB.com.au to win the sprint feature.
Splintex is already a Group 2 and Group 3 winner but a hat-trick…
