Missed call gave jockey a bad feeling regarding what he thought was prized spring ride

Jordan Childs didn’t even need to talk to Paul Preusker to know there was some bad news coming his way.
Seeing a missed call from the man who trains Surprise Baby, which came through at an unusual time, was enough to let the jockey know something was amiss.
It was confirmed when Preusker informed Childs that Craig Williams would be aboard Surprise Baby when the leading Melbourne Cup fancy resumes in the Group 2 Feehan Stakes at The Valley on September 5.
